Green lush hills only thrive with sun, rain and humidity…

In Monchique, the summers are warm, arid, and mostly clear and the winters are long, cold, windy, wet and partly cloudy. The climate here is mild, and generally warm. In winter, there is much more rainfall in Monchique than anywhere else in the Algarve.

The rainfall and sun around outside the summer months make it very good grounds to grow crops, vegetables and fruits, and of course sometimes hard to work outside also.
